We are so happy to announce a new brand to our loving community, ‘Artjuna Collection’. A brand inspired by India and created in Goa. During her travels through India last March, Rebecca founder of Alaria happened to spontaneously and randomly stumble across a concept store in Anjuna, Goa, a truly serendipitous moment. She was first greeted with a long pathway nestled amongst lush greenery and hanging lanterns. With distant music playing, yogis walking in and out and posters of delicious looking vegan food placed everywhere. Finally, a large concept store appeared and there right in front of her the heavens opened up as every single type of bohemian style jewellery was found neatly placed on endless tables and shelves sure to make any jewellery lover melt with happiness. Fast forward a couple of months later and we are happy to join forces and showcase some of their collection here on our site.
The concept of Artjuna was created by couple Moshe and Anastasia, who both dreamt of an area where different souls could roam freely around and where their own ethical collection could be exhibited. They took part in many markets and finally later created the wonderful world of Artjuna. Moshe and Anastasia make sure to follow every step in the Artjuna Collection product design process thoroughly, from the imagination process right down to design, materials and colours, drawing inspiration from all over India. They have their own team of artisans who work in fair conditions within a serene and tranquil community. If you ever have the chance to visit Goa, we recommend taking a trip down to the ‘Artjuna Garden Café and Lifestyle Shop’ and try one of their many yummy smoothie bowls at their outdoor vegan café, a yoga class in their yoga shalla, or browse through their handmade collection. You won’t be disappointed.
Here at Alaria, we handpicked a few of their beautiful pieces for our online store, connecting their community to ours. We love every piece and believe in their story and wish for you to connect to the hard-working hands that make the products. We all need a little piece of India in our life and we hope you find it within their collection.
